I am a speech pathologist specializing in AAC. I have worked in the schools, adult day programs and private practice since 2003 working primarily with people with complex communicaiton needs. In 2012 I founded a non-profit called A Voice Discovered that provides funding assistance, workshops/webinars, parent/caregiver support groups, and a lending library for people who have or would benefit from AAC who live in Ventura County, CA. AVD also provides the only AAC camp in Ventura County, CA.
