Join us for an interactive workshop designed to empower educators, therapists, and caregivers with a solid, practical framework for setting meaningful AAC goals for early emerging communicators. This session goes beyond theory, blending foundational guidance with hands-on, live goal development tailored for early emerging communicators.  

In this 90-minute workshop, participants will learn a structured approach to setting AAC goals that support communication growth in foundational skill areas for early emerging communicators (i.e., learners who are emerging in their use of intentional communication, learners who are developing their regulation and engagement skills, learners who are acquiring “first words” regardless of age). After a brief introduction to key considerations for goal setting for learners within this developmental stage, the majority of the session will be dedicated to real-time workshopping.
