THE MISSION

our STORY
Learning how to support communicators with complex needs is a winding journey. Knowing not only where to start, but how to find your way, is key to helping people who use AAC reach their full potential. We are here to help you find your way on your AAC journey so that your communicator can find their way in the world. The field of AAC has come a very long way over the last 40 years. New, more accessible and affordable technologies are available and more children than ever are getting connected early to AAC tools. Despite these and other great strides in the accessibility of AAC, several issues and barriers persist. AACcessible was founded to bring awareness and action to the AAC access barriers that remain for communicators, partners, and families.
