AAC Assessment Basics Webinar Series: Communication Assessment for Complex Communicators & Access to Starter AAC

AAC Assessment Basics is a 3-part learning series designed to help speech-language pathologists and other professionals build a practical foundation for assessing the communication and AAC needs of individuals with complex communication profiles. Across the series, participants will explore functional communication assessment, AAC feature matching and dynamic system trials, and considerations for communicators with complex vision, sensory, motor, and regulation needs. The series emphasizes an ongoing, individualized approach to AAC assessment that connects what we learn about a communicator to meaningful decisions about AAC access and participation. Each 1-hour course is offered for 0.1 ASHA CEUs. Learners may register for one or more individual courses or participate in the complete three-part series for a total of 0.3 ASHA CEUs (3 PDH).
