About the Event
This is a monthly, virtual networking and mentoring event where professionals and caregivers who are supporting persons who use AAC can connect, ask questions, and have discussions. This is also a place where persons who use AAC are welcome to join and hsare their perspective and expertise. This month, we are joined by AAC user, entrepreneur, and AAC interaction specialist, Lydia Dawley. Lycia will share her experiences, andwer questions, and offer tips for building self-advocacy skills as a person with complex communication needs. This talk is a must for professionals, parents, and AAC users!

Lydia Dawley is CEO & Founder of Click. Speak. Connect & The Nadpen
She has Mixed Cerebral Palsy, uses a wheelchair for mobility, and communicates using an iPad. In addition to her consulting work as a AAC Interaction Specialist, Lydia has been creating her custom styluses for personal use since 2009. She is a well-known speaker in the AAC community and contributing author of the book "Becoming an Exceptional AAC Leader, released in March, 2021.
