About the Event
This is a monthly, virtual networking and mentoring event where professionals and caregivers who are supporting persons who use AAC can connect, ask questions, and have discussions. This month, Mike Hipple will provide a brief keynote and Q&A. We ask that you consider sending your questions via email or social media comments ahead of time to allow Mike time to prepare his responses. AAC professionals, users, partners, and those curious about AAC are encouraged to join! Mike is an engaging and charismatic young man with much wisdom and insight to share.
About Mike Hipple:
Mike Hipple is a young man with a physical disability. He has been using assistive technology and AAC since 1998 to communicate with his family and to move around in the community. He is an active member of the AAC community and his local community. He started Wisconsin AAC Network in 2015 to give everybody a voice in WI AAC/AT communities. Mike is active in USAAC, ISAAC, and other prominent AAC organizations and frequently leads speaking engagements for organizations across the country.
